Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Porcelain Dog Doorstop. It is made of heavy porcelain and is weighted at the bottom. I am unsure of the age or manufacture of the piece. It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few small glaze chips on it, particularly at the tip of the nose. There is some small area of discoloration on the back side of the dog, underglaze as well. The dog is a bit dusty and will need a light cleaning. The dog has realistic looking glass eyes attached which give it a very interesting and unique look. The piece is 10” tall, 8” long from the front feet to the tail and is 3” wide front to back. It is a very interesting piece and has a great unique look to it. It would be a very nice addition to your antique collection, and is a great, useful, functional doorstop as well.
